A Pair of Vintage Black Rhinestone drop Earrings by Butler & Wilson

An amazing pair of earrings by Butler & Wilson, London, finished in rich goldplate and set with black rhinestones. Each earring features a finely faceted black rhinestone at the top above the post, leading to a fan-shaped gilt drop decorated with two radiating rows of black rhinestones, separated by a central band of gilt marquise detailing. Suspended below are seven tassels of varying lengths, each set with different-sized black rhinestones mounted in full bezel, open-sided settings along gilt chain drops. The tassels are joined with double ring connections, allowing them to sway fluidly with the slightest movement, creating striking sparkle and motion. Clearly hallmarked B&W within a circular lozenge to the rear. A dramatic and highly accomplished design with strong visual impact. The earrings retain their original comfort keepers and appear unworn. Presented in perfect condition, like new, with no damage or losses.
