A vintage solid sterling silver ring featuring a striking domed cluster of deep red garnets, expertly faceted and set across three elevated tiers. The design creates a dramatic high dome reaching approximately 12mm above finger level, supported by an open silver cage that allows light to pass through for maximum brilliance. In exceptional condition with no damage or losses, the ring is hallmarked S.P.G, indicating the designer or maker, along with Ag 925—confirming sterling silver to British standards and U.S. origin. Ring size is K½ (US 5½), with a band measuring 4mm at the shoulders tapering to 2mm, and 5mm thick at the divided shoulders tapering to 1mm. The garnet cluster includes 18 oval-cut stones at 6mm x 4mm and a central 6mm round-cut garnet, for a total estimated carat weight of 10.9ct. Total mass 6.9g.
